I was killed by a weird spell recently - and wondered if anyone knows which spells or conditions actually portect you from it; Death Ward does not is seems.

Protection from Evil?
True Seeing?
Mind Blank?
blindness?

it is a spell that literally scares you to death so at a guess something that protects you from mind effecting spells, or use something that increases your will saves.

IIRC immunity agains mind effecting only protects you from the will save that the spell has. You still have to make a fortitude save vs. Death.

Immunity against illusions should work (Though I doubt any items got that except one item in HotU). Weird is an illusion spell.
