Is this a myth?? (spoilers)

Well, once a friend told me that is possible to go to the Enclave by sub..... is it true..?? If it is, how to do it?? I'd like to know...

And as I'm going to start a new char soon (haven't played this game for 2 years.. :S ) I wanna know your opinions 'bout the best kind of weapon to use... if it's energy, big or small? (close combate unarmed ownz :D )

And Gauss rifle > all ;) .

Myth.

Best weapon? - Well most damage upfront single shot is the Electric rifle, I can't remember the name. Electric is also the best (lowest) DR/DT on armors.
If you want high damage and range, it'd be the Gauss.

Well, Chris Avellone explains that there was supposed to be a sub that you had to disable, because it would shoot a torpedo at the tanker if you tried to move it. He doesnt mention if you could just take the sub to the oil rig instead.

As for the weapon, the Mega power fist is pretty cool, but if you are using big guns, go for a bozar and an M72 Gauss rifle.

Note: The Gauss rifle isnt a big gun, but if you read some Guns and Bullets, you should be able to wield it just nicely

Thx for all the ansewers, and I just found out that he made me a fool :mad:

about the rifle, did you mean pulse rifle?

btw, yep, power fist and gauss rox (specially 'cause it's a Small Gun, (not a big gun) so you can raise your stats since the beggining of the game and you won't have to spend points in another kind of weapon skill...)

Well I had another doubt....

you see, I was sick of playing F2, and I finished it very quickly, lefint many quests unresolved... but I do remember of that deathclaw you rescue at navarro's... when you free him he says: blah blah blah, 'I'm gonna alert my people for war' (or somethin' like...there's been a long time that I do not play this game, so, sorry if I'm wrong.)
If I'm right what does that mean?? Maybe it's like when you take the Adyctum (fallout 1) with the Blades..? Or that is pointless and meaningless...? Thx for your time!

I think that by freeing that deathclaw, you trigger one part of the endings, and IIRC it was that the deathclaws actually survive.But it has been quite long since I last time rescued it, mostly my visits in Navarro are very shorts.

I think a good gun is a Solar Powered Plasma pistol, (special encounter, cant remember where) but thats a good one right there.

Yes - the pulse YB2000 or something. I can never remember the name, and I'm to lazy to check the manual/strategy guide for it :D

I remember botching my game because a friend told me that it was possible to go to the Enclave via the shuttle from the Hubologists.

Unfortunately the shuttle does not work.

Yeh i got to say the guass rifle and super powerfist is one of my favs..with the perk that lowers melee and ranged wepons by one..its a kickass combo :D ...nothing better than wearing my bridge keeper robes..and bashing groups of gangs around ..heh :p

Nothing like roaming the wasteland with a Red Ryder LE BB Gun, blowing big gaping holes in Enclavers and aliens alike. One game I took out Horrigan in just two shots with the thing. Admittedly the turrets helped some. Funny as all getout.

hmmm...mm....about the deathclaw ......ive played the game quite some time and evey time i got the bad ending for the deathclaws Note: i saved the deathclaw from navarro and took the other deathclaw (forgot his name) with me....but he had to return saying smth like the other deathclaws are in trouble and he needs to go help them. When I go back to take him once more with me he is the only survivor of an enclave attack....u can watch the video and see them killing the deathclaws but the same tragic end for dathclaws....that i killed them :| how can i get around this beside not interfering with the deathclaws ??? :D

i believe it's a bug which should be fixed with an unofficial patch
