Just curious. They all seem both cool and powerful.

I dig Morte, chief. Very funny & sarcastic.

And the story he tells in the Clerk's Ward, in the Brothel, about how he once knew a guy who was granted wishes... it gave me goose-bumps!

My party: I wouldn't go anywhere without the skull. I am kind of odd so I like the Gith, it gives you a chance to do some real good and make up for a past incarnation; that and he gives me the three fighter front early on. Annah because she's a hottie. Grace is mostly around because she's a healer. Ignus I use for XP because he's too far gone to save. Nordrom because he's a cool geek with an awesome ranged attack, in my normal parties everyone has a missile weapon.

I haven't used the others because I keep forgetting where the blind archer is. Valahor(?) seems like an ass kicker but you get him late and he seems rather bland.

Yes, the skull, Annah, Grace, Nordron(sp?), the Gith. I only took Ignus once. Didn't like him at all.
My fave is Nodron. He is cute.

Ignus is a must have if you want to be a mage. I couldn't believe how many experience points and spells I learned from him. I don't like him much either which is why last time I just used him for his goodies . As Far as Nordrom's "cuteness", I guess his nickname could be BOB. But as I was told once: "Don't baby my killing machine." ;)

Morte for power and plot (he becomes really good if you have Grace)
Dak'kon for above reasons.
Annah, because I never play a thief, and always feel I need one.
Grace, for her plot part really...:/
And my personal favourite - Vhailor - for begin so damn tough and looking cool.
I never really found anything interesting about Nordom...neither with Ignus. :/

I really like Morte and Dak'kon, so I'd have to say that either of them is my favorite. Fall-From-Grace is also my favorite, and so is Annah. And I like Nordom best of all, so he's my favorite.

I hope you see how silly this is. :)

Hum...

My first guy is always morte. For two reason:

1) Plot
2) Taunts :D Every mage in PT had tested that ability ^^

Afeter that Dak'kon, because he is a very strong fighter, deal good damage and is a very useful mage.

The Ignus. I simply love the fling burning man :d
The Nodrom & Vhailor, one because of his cutness, and the second because of his BIG axe :D

While I can't answer your original question, I have a least favorite NPC, so I hope that counts.

I have never been on good terms with Vhailor - the quality of maniacally and mercilessly following authority has never been one I've appreciated in people or floating pieces of armor :)

Favorite party-follower NPC: Fall-from-Grace. She is, in my view, the best portrayal of lawful good that I've seen (forget stuck-up, detect-evil-and-smash-it paladins). Open minded without compromising principles, wisdom without arrogance, justice without fanaticism, etc. Also, with the common-ness of fallen angels in fiction, it's nice to see a risen demon every once in a while. Adds a bit of hope to an otherwise kinda bleak game. She's not so useful for a party of rough-and-tumble adventurers with plenty of heart charms, but her quiet heroism is inspiring.

Favorite overall NPC: Ravel. She just kicks so much ass. You hear all these stories about this horrible monster who flays anyone who won't answer her riddles correctly, and you encounter a confused, doting old woman in overalls, then she turns out to be an evil villain after all, but then she turns out to be surprisingly easy to beat, but then it turns out she faked her death... and, just so many surprising twist and turns, in the space of about an hour of gameplay. Nothing is as it seems with her.

morte. his stories and comments are classic, his taunt ability kicks if you're a heavy-armed fighter and have to go against a spellcaster... *giggles*

otherwise I'd probably choose Annah and Nordom - Annah is cute (boy I liked it when TNO first could kiss her, kinda appealed to my romantic part) and very useful. Nordom is a rogue modron - for that alone I simply love him (and the big cute eyes!); also, him shooting with those little crossbows has always proved useful yet.

yesyesyesyesyes! Ravel is a great character... and I was so freaked out by the riddle she gives (whole hours of philosophical discussion have come from this simple question).

Morte all the way. That guy is awesome.

He's like BG's Jan Jansen... only countless times better.

I also like Dak'kon for his coolness. He's a beast toward the end of the game.

Nordom is cool too, as you can sort of customize him.

Vhalior is very good during the final battle.

When i play though, I usually solo. I managed to get the Nameless One to level 33.

Well, I'd say that Morte and Annah takes the first place, just 'cause every ressurecting hero should have his sarcastic side-kick in form of a floating skull and a hot lady by his side.
