Opening Kiel´s chests in Durlag's Tower

I´ve killed the four dwarves, but can´t open the chests. I´m soloing a Druid and have str 18. Is it a lack of str or do I need anything to open them?

This chest is very hard to open, even for a thief with high open locks score. By using bashing you'll need to use some potion of strenght, at least 24 (Storm Giant).
18 str is only 35% chance of bashing, and it's useless for this specific chest.

The problem is that I can't drink str potions. Just got Imoen with two Master Thiefery ones...

You said that you are soloing... hehehe I thought that Imoen weren't with you.
And did it worked? "Imoen with two Master Thiefery ones"...
EDIT: If it didn't worked, after you reach the level 4 of the Tower, after the chess board, You'll be able to return to the surface, were will be a Merchant in the top of the map. Maybe he can sell you some more Master Thievery potions...

Well... she wasn't but you know, if our sister doesn't help when we need her, who would?
I really needed that extra dxt point, 'cause a solo Druid life is a hard one
