backstab records!

i was intrested in how much dmg people have done with a backstab. my record is 214

how and who did you use to get to 214! That's cool. My record is 120 or 134, something like that.

somewhere in the 200
with the daystar and the celestial fury, with the extra dammage from the fury.
Against a Vampire.
one time i had a Sunray who did 1412 dammage !! starnge ain't it

My sunray did over 2000 damage.

Sunray really hurts undead. It can kill lich instantly. If they do not save vs spell they die(thousands pts of damage) and a 20 lvl priest can do 23-128 to any undead in a 30' radius!!!

My Kensai/Thief backstabbed a kobold shaman with about 280 damage IIRC. Not something to be proud of, of course. But he did kill some powerful mages before they could get their defenses up, which is satisfying to say the least. Man, I really love the Kensai/Thief.

Its not a bug, undead are imune to save vs death spells so the 2k damage is just a way to get around that.

crikey...some lousy scores there, especially with a kensai/thief!!!
my best backstab score is 420 (roughly)
that was a kensai/thief using the spell blackblade, the critical strike ability and Kai

My assassin did ~400 on a critical hit with the Staff of the Ram.

Under character - Information you get Most powerful foe vanquished (etc) wouldn't it be cool if it had most damage done? I'm sure I've got a 512 H.P backstab with a critical but very few of us would take the screen shot (as it is probably against a Hobgoblin Shaman or similar). It would also be cool if the animation for a twice your H.P.s in damage animation was different to the straight 'chunk' animation. I know it's not gonna happen but it would still be cool. - Curdis !

I remember my halfling F/T doing 169 to one of the guardians of King Strohm's tomb. Meanwhile he should be able to go beyond that.
