Favorite and Least Favorite Part of Morrowind

I'm sorry is somebody made a thread like this Fable, too lazy to check...

Anyway, what is your favorite part of Morrowind? Also, to switch it up, what is your least favorite part of Morrowind? (The options were too vast to make a poll)

My favorite part is the fact that you can be anything you feel like being. Thief, Mage, Warrior, Assasin, many others, plus mixs of them all, all very good options.

My least favorite part are the repetitiveness of what the NPC's say. Always with the same lines. Also... Cliff Racers!!! Enough said there!

My favorite part...

As common and unoriginal as this answer is: the non-linear gameplay. I thought it was hilarious when Dagoth Ur looked at me with absolute incredulity and asked me why I was there. (I fudged that a bit, but it is how I saw it)

Least favorite part: Unarmored didn't work right. I wanted to make this Archer Monk character, but I had to fudge it by wearing armor.

(The idea was to pelt stuff with projectiles, make them run and use fatigue, then finish them off with your fists.) It would have worked if unarmored had worked properly.

If you play on Pc there are mods that address these problems. I can see from Rebelious' signature that he (or she) plays on X-Box so I won't both suggesting anything.

Gangrel should check out the unarmoured dodge mod (if you are on PC)

As to the question:

Favourite aspect of the game: Freedom of choice
Most problematic aspect of the game: Freedom of choice

Sometimes its just too hard to ecide what I want to play

I have the same problem there, it usually takes me like four tries before I find a character I like.

Favorite part of the game: The total non-linearity is simply a dream come true!! This is the kind of game I've wanted to play since I started playing video games.

Most Unfavorite Part of the game: Dealing with the dust storms coming from Red Mountain. Rather than deal with them, I'd rest up until things cleared up. It wasn't so bad if you needed the wind to your back, but, heading into it was sheer frustration. (Those cliffracers are a close second! )

Every game that provides you with a goal is linear, and MW is no exception. But it disguises its linearity so incredibly well, with so much to explore, learn, and do. Throw in plenty of mods, and it just keeps getting better.

One other thing that is a big PLUS: I certainly have gotten my money's worth from this game. As opposed to, for example, Call of Duty 2, which I just completed a few minutes ago after just over one week of playing, MW took me months to finish. I realize it can be 'completed' much faster, but, with all the exploring and side quests, and nearly limitless other things that can be done, one would really miss out if they just concentrated on the 'main' quests.

(I still think I got my money's worth with CoD 2, though. :) It cost me under $30 US to get it. ;) )
