Do you know - I started to doubt myself for a minute! I have just entered Chapt 3 and am ready to enter Chap 4. I was trying to remember if Aran had requested a fee for the sail to Brynlaw!!!

Oh well we are all human (apart from the elves, orcs, dwarves....)

No offence meant Dude - but what is your PCs Wisdom level? Hehe!

TheDude - I am SO glad you are not moderator - you know? you get my vote tonight for making me laugh and for humbly accepting the fact that there will be a few more giggles!! ;)

Do you know whenever you save a game there is always a cool tip that comes up. Mostly by Chapter 3 you will have read them all - one that pops up quite a bit is:

"Your journal is a valuable tool - refer to it often!"

Hehe. I wonder how soon it will be before you are laughing at me for missing the obvious (I do that quite often!) ;)

PS - I am not laughing just at your oversight (not really THAT bad!) more for how frustrated you got with the game, then your second posting when you beat yourself up!!

How far had you wandered searching for the key and trying to remember dropping items on the floor? :D

to find the key i opend all the boxes in the shadow thief compount, searched through the whole Docks area, Turned the Copper Corronet upside down, went all the places i think i put something away( trademeet, windspearhills) i looked 10 times in my journeral to see if i typed in a clue where i put the key but didn't find him.

usually i have 1 or 2 boxes in the game where i put everything (usually on a box on top of the Copper Coronet)but i didn't use it yet so i really had no idea where i put the key.
now i know :D :D
(ps what did u vote my 5 i hope :D :D )

Don't feel bad, Dude. It happens to the best of us sometimes. :)

Hey Dude!

I use the box at the CC but only that one so I only have one place to look! I usually lose things by dropping them when my inventory is full so they could be anywhere if I forget after a lengthy dialogue to check what was dropped.

As for me missing the obvious - I completed De'Arnise Hold (with only three party members this time) and left there forgetting to forge the three flail heads! Doh! now I can't get back in because I let Nalia go! :D :D

Well, as things stand at the moment I do not have anyone with a flail proficiency but when I do I will be posting for the CLUA cheat (as it won't be REALLY cheating cause I have got three brilliant but useless flail heads! Hehe!) :D :D

PS - It was a good vote!

Take care!! ;)

I tend to use the Den of the Seven veils for my item storage. Unless I've gotten the Planar Sphere as my stronghold (that place is just oh so convenient).

But, in that upstairs room at the seven veils, where you kick tail on that dorf and his buddies. there's three chests for stashing stuff. I use one for potions, wands, and spells, one for weapons, and one for armor. All the keys and other useless trinkets I get I stash on the table downstairs by the door.

Considering how much time one can spend in Waukeens, it makes it a very easy base of operations.

Planar sphere is much better, though, as the slums get used alot as well, and that first room just inside the entrance (the one off to the left that has the first golem you face in it), has like 4 boxes in it. Makeing it very convenient to stash all your stuff.
