First, the stealing could be done in more neat way.
Other, the list of necessary items is in your journal. You may just ever pick up the items elsewhere, the only problem there would be a dwarven goblet since there are several kinds of them.

Using the Key
I’m having issues with the Dwarven artifacts as well. I read one walkthrough that suggested trying to pick the lock of the chest with the artifacts. This provokes an attack by the owner allowing you to kill in self defense to obtain the key. No problems there, but I can’t figure out how to use the key.
Does anyone know how to use keys on the X-Box GOTY edition? I’ve tried using it like the lock picks, but I can’t equip the key. I also tried just opening the chest hoping that since the key is in my inventory it would just open, but that doesn’t work either. I’m having the same problems using the Key to the lower levels of the “puzzle box” ruins. What am I doing wrong? How do you use a key? Does it require certain stats?

A container or door should just open with message that it had been opened by "<put the name here> key" - if you had right one in your inventory. There is no need to "use" the key on any object, having it in the backpack is enough.
Only lockpicks/probes have to be equipped to open/disarm.
