Can someone tell me how to beat Maze? My strenght lvl is 5, toughness 5 and the other one is 5 too. Im not a really good mage my best spell is 3rd fireball. PLease tell me wha ti have to train and wich armor i must wear.

I've found that Slow Time works great on a lot of occasions. While slowed, wait for Maze to make a melee attack (bring a LOT of potions because his spells seriously hurt), circle around him and attack him in the back. Works well for most characters... I have to say that Maze is one of the toughest, if not THE toughest character to beat. The final boss was cake compared to him.

Not sure if it's the best way... but it's a way that worked for me.

I just went berserk and smashed him whenever he got up...

If you have TLC (The lost Chapters) then i recomend 2 spells and you can easily beat him. You need Time stop (like level 2 should do) and Divine fury/wrath (whatever alignment you are and at level 4). Then all you do is slow time, run up to him and start casting divine wrath/furry and he should go down quickly. Just watch his inflame and you should be set when taking him on. Oh and physical shield can help alot also.

Slow time+ multi strike always works fine for me

Also Assassin rush is pretty good (lvl1 is enough) teleports you behind him and allows you to score a few unblocked hits

what I did

This is what I did to defeat Maze:

A>Focus Site Area
Throw on Physical Shield, Multistike, and Slow time. At that point, I just beat the heck outt him until he teleported away.

B>Next to the Stairs
Multiarrow is now your best friend. Lock on, stand back, and turn him into a pin cushion. Roll out of the way when he attacks though.

C>Inside the Lighthouse (I think... Might have missed a step)
Ok, you are now in VERY tight quarters. Physical Shield will help a lot. Switch to a fast weapon and just keep blocking. When his attack bounces off, you'll have about a 2 second window to stab him. Repeat until he warps away.


D> In Front of the Lighthouse
Here's the easiest part. If you stay inside the lighthouse door, he cannot hit you. So just stand there, take out your bow, and shoot him until he falls like a fat man on a rope swing.

Maze is very easy if you have maxed out fireball but if you havent have fun. Eney way just try your hardest to block attacks or just do like I did the 1st time around buy alot of and i mean alot of health potions and just start striking. Then again the 2nd time I played the game I just went to the cliffside path and killed waves upon waves upon waves of Zombies and maxed out every thing I recomend the 2nd one.:mischief:

Maxed out enflame / maxed out multi arrow works best for me.

This is probably the simplest way.

Get at a distance from Maze(you may have to make him teleport first). He will start shooting the Hobbe spell at you. Take out your bow, wait for his shielt to go down and let him have it. Its not as easy in the lighthouse though.

i used beserker, and force push. worked reely good.
