Dumb question on wands....

umm, how do you use them? i made a wand of ID, but i can't seem to actually get it to ID an item. any help would be appreciated 
The person using it needs to have the spell in question on the list of spells one of his classes will allow him to cast. A cure spell needs a cleric or druid (or paladin? hmm.). Otherwise, you'll have to succeed on a use magic item skill check, which can't be used untrained and which is really difficult.
To use it, make sure it's in the right person's inventory, then open their radial menu and mouse over the backpack. Wands should be a selection. Mouse over that to see a list of the wands he's carrying. After you use an ID wand, it'll open the inventory screen, just as if you had cast the spell. Click the item you want identified. That's all there is to it.
