TOB: Watcher's Keep Mind Flayer portion

How the hell do you get into the one door to the West of that area? I have that 1/2 of a rod/key but it won't open. Is there another half? Where?

Okay 1/2 of the key is in the room guarded only by umber hulks and that's to the north of the room you want to get into and the other 1/2 is being carried by a mind flayer in a room to the south of the room you want to get into.
Check the walkthrough for exact details.

You probably missed the half that is dropped by the mind flayer. Since they don't usually drop anything, I missed this at first as well. Look on the floor in the room to the south where you fought them. Use your tab key to highlight items laying on the floor.
