Of Garou and Gangrel SPOILERS

Evidently spoliers (in case you missed them in the thread title).

This is more a hopeful question than anything else... Does the irritating and frustrating werewolf still attack gangrel characters? I'm not that far off now, and it would be a very nice perk if one didn't have to worry about him. It would fit with the game's mythos (although evidently the PC is more of a city gangrel in terms of background, and doesn't know the ways of the wilderness and garou), but might not have been included.

Again, hopeful thinking, but given how badly protean seems to compare to other disciplines, I was rather hoping for another perk (in addition to all the free exp from discipline increases that gangrel can get from Becket!).

I don't think so....the Gangrel/Werewolf thingie is a mythos anyway, sure there might be a few Gangrel worldwide who have kind of an arrangement going on with a werewolf or even a whole pack, but it's not a general understanding, so chances that you are meeting final death as a gangrel who thinks meeting a werewolf is the cool thing are quite good in 99.9 percent of all cases...

Lupines find all Kainites disgusting, they might be considering a Gangrel eco terrorist less offensive then some other vampires, that doesn't mean they wouldn't attack him on sight, they might be listening to him if he has a good cause in mind ( like blewing up a poluting factory nearby ), and might even work with him on that one, but that doesn't mean he would be able to cross their territory unharmed the next time he is around.

So....Werewolves meeting Vampires are a very, very bad idea....for every Clan.

The Sabbat are another story of course...some of their nomadic packs are even going out on a werewolf hunt from time to time. Suffice to say is that not many vampires make it back from such an encounter.

Nope. Wolfie attacks Grangel characters as well...
I'm not a fan of protean myself, though the warform can be nice in some of the tougher fights. I liked fortitude and "communion of the bloodsuckers" is worth raising your animalism for, IMO.

If you don't want to worry about the werewolf anymore ....
... just kill it !! :p
You need to turn the electricity back on (there's a control panel out / in the back of the observatory) then you should open the cupola (this time from the inside; up the stairs there's the switch you have to push).
Now lure the stupid wolfie and close the cupola when it's in the middle!
You'll also earn other 5xp ! :D

Yeah, and if you're going down that road, get all defenses to ultra-max, pack as much blood as you can carry, and armor up all the way, because it gets really, really bad before it gets any good.

It's not so bad, just keep moving, make big circles if you need o buy time. Try to lure wolfie on the outside to the dome after switching on the power and before going back in.

And don't hide in the bathroom ;)

That bathroom is a deathtrap. Only one way in and the werewolf always seems to catch me in there if I make a wrong turn in my haste. It took me a few tries but it isn't that hard of a run once you have it mapped out in your head. Bloodpacks and disciplines give you a larger margin of error but you can do it without any help its just a lot harder if you can't heal partway through.

I just beat Vampires as a Gangrel, the wolf attack was a pain and I dont think they even give you a chance to talk to him, Oh well I had fun electrocuting his ass hehe :D But ya keep Fortitude on the entire time because he will not stop to chat

Werewolves are not renowned for their converstional prowess... Maybe if you mannaged to get him talking about the different ways he liked to kill things...
