1. Just finished the game today and got really surprised when I now read through the forum and checked the wt.
Saw that Vukodlak are supposed to take you down a level where you will battle him again. The thing is, it didn't happen to me. I just had to battle him once (he didn't take me down to the next level) and then the finishing scene started.
2. He also offered me to join him and according to the wt I should be able to decide wheter I should join him or not, didn't get that choice however.
So, does anyone know why this happened to me? Some kind of huge bug or
Bug vs. Vukodlak?
Bug vs. Vukodlak?
Why do today what you can leave for tomorrow

I guess that happened because you had very low Humanity, so actually had no real choice of endings besides that one you got. You need certain amount of Humanity to proceed beyond that point. How much was your Humanity rank then?
ROMERO: If you should see any zombies in that time, you need to put them down. Just don't let them bite you.
PC: Why? Do you turn into a zombie if they bite you?
ROMERO: Naw, it just hurts like a bitch.

Not sure anymore, but i think you're humanity should be at least at 55 or 60. If i'm not mistaken anything below that will result the game to end right after your first encounter with Vukodlak, and you'll never get to fight him in his true shape. I could be off a few humanity points here though, it's been a while since i last played the game.
It shouldn't be too hard to get to the end with plenty of humanity, all you need to do is stay clear from killing innocents, or sucking them completely dry. There's even one or two opportunities along the road to increase your humanity. One thing kinda sucks though, you'll never be able to learn any of those powerful spells from that tome of the Sczimice when you're above 35 humanity.

I think the basic principle is if your Humainty is to low (40 or lower?)then you are so Evil you just take his place.
If your Humanity is 40 to 75 he makes an offer to try to corrupt you.
If your Humanity is 80 or above then you get no offer and you automaticly fight him twice, since at that level your charater is considered to be uncorruptable and determined to destroy his evil.
Btw 80 is as high as you can end the game if you eat Lucretia's Heart to gain huge Blood Pool increase and Disciplines.
You can acheive 100 Humanity before Lucretia.

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.
