Prince of Persia in Dungeon Lords

Post by Mechanizer »

OMG! I'm having a real hard time getting over the water jumping puzzle. Is'nt there any other way to get to the other side except for the ones in the walkthrough? My Paladin has been soaked wet with poisoned water for hours and I've yet to cross the other side of the room... This is the reason why I don't play Prince of Persia...coz I'm way too lame for eye-hand coordination :(
Why do they have to put these things to an rpg game anyway?

As a last option, I'm even considering to give my bud a copy of my saved game and let him jump for me...pathetic I know...but thats how desperate I am....

Please lend me some help, anything would be very much appreciated...I really want to finish this game...but I think right now I'm getting close to being real frustrated... :(

Water puzzle

I finally did it with time crystal, but it took many, many tries. Very aggravating. Click on the crystal of time just before going into the water puzzle room. It messes up if you wait until you are in the room already. If someone else could have gotten me through, I would have let them with no remorse

After making that jump over a dozen times for myself and other people I discovered that the game won't let you make it across unless you have the shadow stone. So, make sure you do or you're spitting in the wind. D

I found the easiest way to do this was to use my Time Crystal, stand on the right side, and wait for the 4th pillar thing to start heading down. I then started blindly jumping from one to the other. I never stopped for anything. This worked best for me.

Re: Water Jumping Puzzle

I wouldn't get to worried about the water jumping puzzle Mechanizer, If you think your bad at hand-eye puzzles, I've got news for you...... I'M WORSE. That's what drew me to Dungeon Lords actually, It's a game that i can get a handle on. Whenever i run into trouble i usually resort to the crystal of time to give myself some time to think. Also I like to load the game and just watch what is exactly going on so that i can reload the game and know what to expect. using the crystal of time before i went into the room i was able to complete the series of jump right away. I suggest saving the game right after you make the jumps successfully, and the next time you need to save your game do it in a different slot so you don't loose that progress if you need to go back.
