That tells you what all the crystals/arcane spells/netherspells/runes do? I have seen the lists as to what they are, but some of them, especially the crystals, just seeing the title doesnt really explain what it will do for you. A level to go along with that would be nice as well.

the walkthrough doesn't explain the rune spell stuff very well... I have never tried it either... a bit of inertia on my part... but I am hoping the 'collectors edition' will motivate me to try rune magic... I assume you collect the stones and put them together like nether katals... but I am guessing

That's pretty much it. You buy the rune spell once and then you need to buy the correct runes to make the spell work. This requires multiple runes, sometimes 2 of the same rune. Once cast, the runes need to regenerate, like arcane and celestial spells. You can buy multiple rune sets to allow you to cast a spell as many times as you want. Regeneration of runes is sped up putting points into the channel skill, if you have access to it.

I've found that arcane and nether spells are much more effective, but I think focusing on rune casting could be an interested specialty for a second or third or fourth playthrough. Its assumed that rune magic is best for multiplayer since most of the spells have multi-character buffing enchantment couterparts. Unlike arcane and celestial though, I haven't noticed any difference in spell availability based on class choices. If there is variation, it must be small.
