I`m in the Temple Ruins and can`t get out. I have two pieces of light of dawn symbol but have lost the third piece which would allow me to get to level 3 of the ruins.
Does anybody know a Clua number for this or a teleport number, please?

download shadowkeeper. its a lot easier as it lists all items in the game and you can just add the item you have lost to your inventory

Cheers, I found the wretched thing in that little room where a guy begs you to free him.

Shuckins. You didn't lose it; you only needed to ask us where it was. ;) I must have played through that area six times. It can be very tricky. I take it you have a certain object with which to escape the attention of a dragon? If not, prepare for a big fight. You may even want to fight him, though I would suggest taking him on after finishing your main quest.

Incidentally, I just took on that dragon with my two man party (PC fighter/mage lvl18/16, Solaufein fighter/mage lvl 16/15) and it was still pretty challenging. :)

I did a similar thing. Had to import the appropiate piece of the sundial via SK.

Also, i went and fought the Shadowdragan, one of the best fights of my life, i cant honestly believe it happened, but basically my party died rather quickly. My main character was confused from the off (which didnt help), and was attacked every so often by the dragan, until i managed to distract its attention by throwing Korgan at it (H)

However, it was the old BG trick that finally did it, i sent Nalia in, and instead of messing around trying to attack her, simply put up mirror image (H) Blur, Minor Globe, Haste, Defensive Harmony and Spell Protection. Needless to say the dragan found it rather "hard" to hit her, while doing this i had no-one else left so i was simply waiting for myself to de-confuse :p

Anyway, Nalia died in spectacular fashion when the dragan hit her for a critical (didnt explode though). However, right at the last minute my character regained his thoughts, first hit with the halberd, damage (7). Death to the shadow dragon!

Sorry this post probably sounds noobish, but like i say, usually fights arent that dramatic.

Geez, that must have been depressing having your party die like that. The Shadowdragon is worth fighting because of the important items he leaves. I won't mention them because that would be a spoiler.

I wouldn't fight a dragon without being able to pass out two critical protection spells: caotic commands and fear ward. If you are fighting a dragon doing a specific kind of damage (like fire), you can pass around protection against that kind of damage.

I recommend surrounding the dragon with your fighters, and positioning your mages further back. After you start the fight, have your mages continuosly fire off breachs and ruby rays to lower the shields the dragon will throw up. If anyone gets hurt, take them out of the fight, by running them into some corner.

Spam removed. This thread is about the main quest in the Temple Ruins, not how to cheat or cheese your way into making enormous sums of money.

But if anybody does create a foolproof way to accomplish this in reallife, we'll make a thread, just for you. ;)

Heh, I usally manage with just remove fear and neg plane prot. That level draining breath is (literally) a real killer!

Besides from that, it's just hack away! :mischief:
