Significant changes in version 1.4

Let's all post any significant changes we have discovered running version 1.4 German to English Mod, vs the recent 1.4 release, vs DL CE...
Here are a few cool things I've noticed running 1.4 German to English Mod. Critical Strike now works and is devestating when a high enough level is achieved. Many weapons now have + Critical Strike, like the Katana of the Sun which has +5 Critical Strike.
When you level up in Athletics you can swim under water much longer. You can also buy Liquid Air potions from Elvithra in Arindale which allow you to breath under water. You now can wear any mixture of rings and trinkets which was not possible in 1.3. The Skull of the Fiend now gives you +8 Armor.
There are a number of new magic spells. My new favorite, and the most powerful magic spell of all, is the level 7 Rune Magic spell, Shards of Stone which you can buy from Grymlock, but it is very expensive. It is similar to Shooting Sparks but yields much more damage. It also kills creatures that are immune to most magic.
My next favorite is level 5 Arcane Magic spell Whirlwind which you buy from Aleister in Fargrove. This is great against Minotaurs in the Arena, Fire Drakes, Moon Beasts, Chunnellers, Borloth, Trolls, and any Bosses you encounter. Each time you fire one off the damage keeps increasing, and continues for about 90 seconds. Two Whirlwinds are good enough for most large game, about 5 will kill a Fire Drake, but fire off six or seven for tougher customers like the Naga Jail Master. I used Whirlwind to obliterate all the Gaurdians of the Forest, which was worth a ton of experience points.
Then there is the very useful level 4 Arcane Magic spell Freeze that you can buy from Grymlock. It does just what it says, but without any damage. The cool thing is that it freezes your victims for about 30 seconds which is long enough to rip them apart by whatever means you choose. You do have to aim right at what your targeting accurately or you'll waste a spell.
Another new level 4 Arcane Magic spell Zap is similar to the Celestial Solar Ray Crystal, and the Lightning Crystal, and does more damage than the former but not as much as ther latter. But it also is a great long distance weapon, and also locks right on to enemies if you point it in their general direction.
There are alot of other new spells but the did not impress me too much. Anyone else notice any cool changes?
