Dawn Ring?

How do I not-violently convince the guy with Dawn Ring to give it to me. I cannot lie because i keep on being struck by lightning. Any solution would be helpful.

You can't solve that peacefully I fear. Talos is just too grumpy a god to be negotiated with.

U can't swear allegiance or fealty to a God when u actually dun ( the Gods will get cross y'know )
Wonder do we get this quest if we played the Priest of Talos kit....Anyone?
