When Mr Bradley mentioned "surprised" durning the interview perhaps he was referring to those mushman jumping out of the ground to scare the pants off the player.
I was making my way to Arindale when all of a sudden about 3 or 4 mushman jump out of the ground. They scared (or surprised) me out of my chair.
Has anyone had this experience?

Speaking of experiences, has anyone that has the Collecter's Edition gone through the Battlefield of the Dead? I'm curious to know whether they made any changes there. I hope so!

Speaking of Mushmen - there must have been 20 of them waiting to ambush me by Lake Lohr! Combining those with the random montser spawn yeilded about 10 minutes of running and quaffing heal potions till I finally managed to finally kill them all.

Anyone have an easier way to deal with them?

Happened to me too when I got to Lake Lohr for the first time. Also, those things are very persistent. After killing one or two, jumped into the water hoping to ditch them but they followed me all the way to the little island in the middle.

If I'm in the lake lohr I usually climb one of those tree homes and shoot at the monsters from the wooden cat walks.
