Mind Flyers problem

Well, the problem is, that I went to their dungeon in the Underdark before accepting the quest of rescuing Drow Princess, Phaerie I believe. When I return to their dwelling, which is now empty of enemies, nothing happens and I don't know what to do now. I searched the forum and internet for an solution, but with little success. Please help.

Um, if I've understood it correctly, your problem is that rescuing Phaere have nothing to do with their dwelling. Solaufein will be waiting for you *outside* their lair. Simply talk to him and he'll call the Mind Flayers out from their astral travel, attacking you. Be prepared for some umber hulks as well, I believe it's 3 or each.
I hope that I've gotten it right, explain better what your problem is if I'm wrong.
