I've just posted to my Dungeon Lord's site an interactive character planner for 1.4 and CE. It's pretty straightforward to use and greatly simplifies the process of determining character builds.

A tip for anyone who wants to printout a planner sheet, do it in html, it comes out exactly the way it looks on the planner page.

I'm glad you like it. There's an unfinished companion program to manipulate the save files so that I can examine internal settings and test conditions to gather data and frankly remove the tedium of the early game. I might consider completing it and giving it a GUI treatment if people really want it.

I was doing this by hand for each game I start. I am replaying the game trying to play each class. Or I should say I am playing until the Orb and the Oracle comes out or something else captures my attention.

Maybe I should go back to Wiz8 or W&W.
