has anyone heard anything about Fable three or its plot or characters
and what is the name of the main chracter in fable the lost chapters and the original

His name, I beleive it's Hero... or Assassin, Paladin, Necromancer, Runemaster, Arrowdodger, Arseface, Chickenchaser and the list goes on

those are just his titles its really bad not to have a main character not have a name only possible titles

I believe the name of the character is Quickthorpe (in TLC anyways), but other than that.. I would have to guess it's whatever name your profile is.

Quickthorpe, where'd you get that? Sounds like an interesting name to me...

Eh, I'm probably wrong, I just remember reading about it on the official site... again, about .00001% sure this is his actual name. I do, however, remember hearing his name was Quickthorpe, but that doesn't make much sense, does it? heh.

It's an awsome name, but I prefer Arseface

no whats worse is when the only person in the entire game to never have a single line is the very person the game revolves around.

GTA 3 did that too......pissed me off. honestly how can you go through that entire ordeal by simply nodding your head or making hand gestures?

one little question started all this and what website did you see quickthrope at if you remember send me a privat message and the site in the text

Ok first of all there are two types of Fable. There is that Fable Tlc (the lost chapters) and Fable a pc game (from 1996). the character quickthrope is from the old Fable the pc game and the other Fable (tlc) is something different at all! lol

Umm, why discuss about Fable 3 when Fable 2 is not even complete to begin with?

My question exactly....
Anyway the name of the guy is entitled to ur profile name...thats why they call u hero or chicken chaser ( or anyname further purchased in the game )
This becouse lionhead was to lazy to make the game spell ur name
Just like the demon door hits... when u hit T - H - I - S .. He spells the words but does not prenounce it ( It try's thoug )... thats why it has no name
And y doenst the hero talk... MayB he is numb and it saves some work

Yeah, I found this to be pretty weak too. I kept thinking that once I reached a certain point in the game, that people would start calling me by my screen name...but no...so I had to purchase one. If this were changed in Fable II it would be welcome.

well it didnt change.. the character does not say a word aahaha..

now, does anybody know how's gonna be fable 3 for pc??

Erm....dude. Fable two is still being MADE. Fable 3 isn't a thought yet, why'd you revive a year old thread for this?

The Hero's name is Arkon, or Arkin, I really can't remember. But if before you give the school teacher the books have him read the book to the class. While he's reading he mentions the hero by name in several books.

arkon is the guy who owned the SOA first, not the hero. However I find a huge resemblance in the two, both lost their family to evil and both had the choice to hold the SOA. I think hero might be a great decindent of Arkon
