In the gamebanshee walkthrough it is stated that you should be able to gain 2points of experience from Knox if you ask him about his and his masters dealings with the asian vampire. I wasn't able to ask him about this though, so I used gifxp to see how good my character needs to be at persuation to obtain these two exp. points. Although, even after I maxed out my characters charisma and scholarship I still wasn't able to pick this dialog option. Is this because I need to boost some other skills also or because of that my character is a Nos?

You need Perception. I think three Dots of Perception.

Can you get that XP at any point in the game or do you have to up Perception very early on and find out the info before, say, you actually dispose of the guy for Knox?

You'll have to pump Knox for the info before you kill the target I think.

Specifically you need to get the xp before accepting the task of taking care of the Kuei Jin. You need to have the points before you speak with him in the Asylum. Assuming you first speak with him outside of the Medical Clinic it'll be the second time you speak with him.

Yes, you need total of 4 or 5 in persuade, before you agree to help kill the LifeEater (errr I play a Malk ).
