having a problem moving up class

Hi im trying to go from enchantress to war witch but im unable to access heavey weapons and armour even though im a level ten in medium of both. My character just dosent have the skill. I have enrolled in the clestrial order and the fighters guilds, the sisterhood and the tiger but i dont know what to do. I dont know if i should move up in those ranks or what to get access to the armour and weapons heavey skill.
Ty if any one can hook me up. Just a little advanced thanks if you buy the rune stones in the nothern lands in the tower and go to arindale and sell you can make a million in an hour

hopefully, you haven't advanced in another class tree because unless you select a class that has the heavy armor skill than you won't be able to get promoted to war witch. what i would recommend is that you get promoted to battlemage (second tier magic user class) which will give you the heavy armor skill and also some learning bonuses to magic skills.

im having the same problem
i have a heavy weapon of 5 and teh adv points to move up but it's not letting me

Do you have Medium Weapons at 6?
You need that before you can get Heavy Weapons to 6.
And... to get Medium to 6, Light has to be 6 as well.

War Witch Requirements
I'm glad I'm playing 1.3 still where class entrance requirements checking is broken -- because I wanted to be a War Witch, and chose a class tree that does not include any heavy weapon skills (2nd tier's are battlemage & enchantress). Funny that the War Witch requires this skill, but only one of the 2 sisterhood classes gives you heavy weapons.
