SPOILERS(Forgot to put that in the topic)
Ok, so i tried taking a nap in the copper coronet when Aerie and jaheira get into a tussle and i defend one of them(the one that then becomes my love interest) well i wanted to wait and decide later so i reloaded and didnt rest, I went for a while without rest and also got Haer'dalis and then eventually i rested at an inn and there was no conflict i rested a few times and nothing (Haer'dalis had been saying nice things to Aerie too for a while) i tried removing him from the group and resting and nothing. Can i not do it now? seeing as how the fight starts from Aerie complaining maybe she dosent want to complain anymore... any ideas or known ways to cause it to happen?

The triggerings in BGII are all random, there is very little you can do, except wait untill it happens again. :/

There's an old trick with the romances, to get them to speed up... Just pause the game, before going of to do something else (like eat dinner) and when you come back, the next lovetalk should be triggered.
Some are specific to certain triggers, though. Even those, will usually not happen unless enough real-time has passed.
Examples of triggers are the following: Sleeping, buying a locket from a particular merchant, walking into a particular tavern, and even sleeping outdoors.
No lovetalks will progress while in a dungeon, though.
Edit: I just re-read your post, and now I realize I didn't really address your specific problem. Sorry for that... BTW, which one were you trying to romance?

You're so considerate!
Jaheira's romance is, by far, the buggiest of the romances, though, and I'd strongly urge you to patch/baldudash your game (always a good idea) and that you install the Ease of Use Romance Bugfixes.
This will make the romance much less buggy.
That's about all you can do, unless you're willing to use the Console or SK. It may come to that, at any rate
.
Do a search on these forums for "Jaheria romance" and you'll see what I mean.
P.S. I've found the romance conflict interjections to be inconsistent. Sometimes I'll mess up one of the romances without knowing, and end up waiting forever for a catfight that never comes...

They are based on real-time time counters, so resting 3 times will not help, but a week away from home, while having BG2 running, will certainly help.

You can always use the "Active Romance" commands in the CLUA console to speed things along as well...

That was what i want to ask about! Is this thing that u mentioned possible? I used to romance with Aerie, i was sided with her at their conflict and Jaheira stepped away.. but later on (when Haer'dalis showed up and ruined my relationship with Aeire) i decided to leave them on their way and start romancing with Jaheira. But i'm not sure if i can trigger the Jaheira romance again, after rejecting her in the past.. well, is this possible to win her heart again?
