What shopkeepers sell can depend on your characters classes and tier progression. If you take mage for instance, then you will be able to buy better arcane spells when you complete your second tier class and choosing adept will automatically open up all the available celestial spells.

Aleister in Fargrove sells the best Arcane spells, especially when you move up in class. Rianne in the Dead Marshes and Grymlok in the Northlands sell some of these and are not character specific.

The sellers in the emporium in Arindale and the monastary in Fargrove sell all the Celestial spells that are available to buy if you are an adept.

Grymlok is the only seller of good runes and rune spells and sells to all comers. Many other magic sellers sell 1 or 2 or 3 runes.

Feros Duul in Skuldoon sells the best supply of nether spell books and katals. The apothecaries in Fargrove and Arindale are good for katals. Rianne has both spell books and katals. Katal sales are not class specific, but a couple of spell books that can't be bought are class quest specific.

Remember that many spells cannot be bought. Some of these may not even be implemented. What you see is what you get. I think for instance that only 16 or 17 Arcane spells can be bought by 2nd and 3rd tier mage-based characters. But, you can find some of these spells and sell them and then buy them back in whatever quantity you can afford.

Um, basically i been only used a 2 spells if i am not a sorceror type, Fireball and nethe summon spells. Fireball can be found anywhere and sold (and re bought) for a massive quantities for that 1st hit (so u get EXP) Then just SUMMON a loads of fiends jne.... and watch a show....
Maybe that wasnt just a specific reply but it works for all NON magicians. I love those summons, :D

I've often wondered how it would work being mostly a nether summoner. Sounds like fun when it works.

Nether Katals

So, what katals are available from Feros Duul and others? I want to know because I feel like I have cheated... by "seeding" the katals at the shops, I can make any uncommon or rare katal common, and thus screw with the balance of the game... which is already easy enough for the player in battle. The game is hard with all the bugs and lack of a map feature, but still easy enough in battle that I want to see just what spells I should be able to regularly cast. You know in the spirit of the game, not the in-game cheating way. Cheers if you could refresh my memory. I guess I can reasonably say I am not supposed to be able to easily summon a troll. Plus I got as much money as I wanted easily enough... but anyhoo
