What is the most stupid character in BG2 ?
I consider that the golden palm belongs
to ... Nalia de'Arnise !! She really sucks (well, maybe or... maybe well)

And the most intelligent one ?
Edwin Odesseiron.

What do you have against Nalia? She is very effective if you ask me. What are you looking for when you say "stupid"?

People say her thieving abilities are no good. That is because she is not a thief. She does just fine opening locks for me. I don't do much pickpocketing, hiding or backstabbing, anyway, so she is good enough. She is a mage, and the thief abilities are just a bonus. Yep, Edwin has more spells. But, as you point out, his AC is poor, he cannot use the weapons Nalia can use (bows and swords) and has a worse thac0.

Perhaps you dislike her personality?

The NPC with the least usefulness to me is Cernd. Who needs another Druid with Jaheira around? I am not a fan of the shapechanging.

Is everyone aware of what happens if you slay Neeber for being so damn annoying? Worth doing.

No, the REALLY annoying guy who runs around and bothers you unceasingly in Trademeet.

yeah and hes in bg1 at nashkel and keeps talking to you and if you leave him long enough he walks away.

Nalia sucks. She's talking all the time
long about making GOOD and happing poor
people. She even can't cast level 9 spells.
Yes, her AC is good (My Nalia had -7:
-Robe of Vecna
-Bracers AC 3
-Protection +2
-Single Weapon Style (little sword))
Hovewer, She's not a:
-good thief
-good mage
-good archer
Edwin is an:
-excellent mage.
And he's really cool.

You cant romance Nalia because she loves poor little Neeber.

Nalia can't cast level 9 spells, but due to the exp cap, neither can Edwin. With a few potions her Int never gets in the way and I like not needing a thief because she's in the party. On the other hand, once you get Imoen back Nalia becomes redundant.

Ye Gods! I don't know abut stupid. but Nalia is bloody annoying! That voice, eek! And I have to keep clicking her to get her to look for traps *sob*

I don't care how far behind she is when I reach her, Imoen is damn well replacing Nalia when I get to her
