first. i dont like nuts

second, search your whole PC for every little ting you got of fable and delete it or rename it (better to rename), i onve had a problem with the reinstalling, the problem was a minor file of 64kb.. somewhere in all the empty maps.. deleted it and voila

dunno for sure, but its worth a try

I would try working with just normal files first before you start modifying your registry.

I had the same thing...

I had encountrered the same problem, but then with 'Anno 1502 Demo', I once uninstalled it and wanted to install it (a year or two later) and when I did I couldn't play, screen was flashing and buttons were offscreen and unclickable... So I uninstalled the whole thing deleted all the old files (try searching you C drive with any keywords related to fable to get all the maps and files) and then installed it again, and it worked.

I think such problems occure when it tries to install files that still excist on your computer, you have to delete files (or replace or rename like badboyd22 said) to make it look like your computer NEVER had such a game installed on it before. Just don't panic.

PS: Badboyd22: Some nuts are actually quite good...
