Maybe you all can help me out before I actually finish this attempt.

What if I start the game a fighter, progress past Nalia's quest and retain the Keep for myself.
After which I dual-class to a wizard....and Accomplish the Planar Sphere quest to add that to my holdings.

Will I lose ownership of The fort, upon gaining the sphere?
Will I not even get the option to take over the sphere?
Or will I keep both?

Any ideas out there?

You can only accept one. If you take the keep, the sphere will not be offered to you.

I heard that Nalia offers the Keep to you ... do not accept yet or turn it down, but leave your question pending. Then go and do another Stronghold. Once completed, talk to Nalia again (presumably go to her keep), and accept her offer this time, and gain your second Stronghold.

But save before you do anything, as I screwed up with my Fighter/Thief ... I never got the Thieves' Guild Stronghold to trigger ...

I was about to post a topic on a problem i have just encounterd but this topic seems relevant so i will post my problem here:

I had a problem with the fighters stronghold, i was a berserker and dual-classed to a cleric, i was in the middle of the transition (i.e i was a cleric and hadnt regained my fighter skills yet) when i did the keep quest.

After rescuing her aunt, finding her dad etc we came out and she said about how the keep was now doomed as her father was dead, i asked if i could do anything else more to help (thinking i would then get the keep) she then said i something about i could if i was the more "fighting type" did i not get it because i hadnt got my fighter skills back yet and thus the game thought i was just a cleric, I dont have the cleric stronghold (i dont even know what it is

Can anyone help me???? Have i missed it completely or what?

Mm ... now, that *IS* odd ... I guess you'll have to go for the Cleric Stronghold then. Visit the various Temples in Athkatla, I would recommend. Start with the Temple of Helm (Temple District), as I think non-kit Clerics would get their Stronghold there...
