Ok, in CE, I have just talked to the elven guards. They instructed me to go to the lake and wait for some lady. So i swam out to the tower, where i was met by a pissed of version of my 1st grade teacher. I beat the shade, and climb'd the first ladder, and on the second I am climbing, but when i reach the top, it wont let me get up there. it is like i am too big for the hole. so I took off my armor/shield/ect. and still nothing. I can see the altor that i have to reach in order to get the lady to show up. but I just cant get through the top hole and p on the top! any suggestions?:speech:

This has been addressed in other threads here and at the Dreamcatcher DL forum. For your convenience, here's the solution for the bug.
Climb the top ladder to the stuck point, then climb back down and DON'T move, merely save then quit DL.
For this next part, set your screen resolution to 1024/768. Open the save with a hex editor, preferably Hex Workshop 4.2. At the very bottom of the file are three groups of data. In the screen with all the 000000's, you want to alter the third group from the bottom and it will look something/or the same as this;
E1 1249 5BE2 1545 9792 9549 00
The 1545 is Y coordinates for up and down. Place your cursor on the left of the 1545 and hit 5046 to replace the 1545. Now save the file and say yes to create a backup.
Now quit the editor, start DL and load your edited save. You're now on top. Activate the shrine and wait for the spirit to vanish. Now stand with your back to the battlement and backflip up onto it and jump down into the water.

thanks for the help, but i would rather not have to use a hex editor and if i were to use one i would use artmoney. i am very familar with that. i also dont have backflip, i havent did any of that yet. but this is the only way to eleviate this delema? wow, this game is no bttr than battlefield 2. thx for the replies i appreciate it very much. Time to uninstall the game.

Backflip can be done when you have just a few points in athletics. You don't HAVE to go through the elven fortress, you could go the long way around and enter Arindale from the north.

Your refusal to do something simple to get past a very minor problem, and because of that one little non-critical thing, you condemn the game

He must be really noobish too give up that easily!
Is that how you get into Arindale?

That's the short route to Arindale. He could just as easily have taken the north path, after exiting the west gate at Fargrove, then keep left through the narrow passage to Talendor, then south west and west through a swamp and south to Arindale.

Well it seems I had the same problem (stupid urgoth)
So I tried looking for the hex thing...couldn't find it, but I did find a character editor program, so I made a new character (thrall) and copied all my stats to him, now I'm in Arindale after an hour, and I did stuff I missed

so theres my solution...now to petition that lord...
