Where were the Nishru?

I finished the game the other day and realized that I never ran into a Nishru. I am pretty sure that I did all of the side quests (my PC was a ranger), but no Nishru.
I am planning on playing through again (evil K/M).
Where do I have to go to find one? I would like to kill at least one of everything

right?
Um.... If you goto the guarded compound.... theres a nishruu accompanied by some other baddies before you take the stairs to the second floor...
I duno what happends when you start messing with the guys that warns you right away tho... I always back off.... then come back and go upstairs....

Oh yeah.... and a mage in that Drow Inn duel pit will summon a nishruu, at least thats what I remembered what he did repededly...

Also if you give them a chance Tolgaris and his lacky will summon a Nishru on ya in Planer sphere quest

Is there something wrong with just summoning your own Nishruu and then attacking it? You don't get experience, but you can certainly get the "thrill" of a battle.
I fought a Nishruu in the underdark when some Drow cast one. My fighters hacked him up before he could get to the mages.

I believe that there's a mage that will summon a nishruu in one of those forests you can go to after the underdark (don't know which one).

Seabass: Actually I think Nishruu might be one of those words where the sigular and plural form are the same. (at least thats my story and I'm sticking to it
)
I guess I did fight at least one (guarded compound). They must have not been that tough because I sure don't remember doing it.

I can confirm all said above. One more thing if you are so keen to meet Nishruu. Give your mage Robe of Vecna or another precious robe. Precious bracers are also good...
