Tired of reloading in Planar Sphere

Can anyone give me a clue as to what weapons will kill Tanar'ri, I've reloaded about 15 times already. It's really starting to pi$$ me off.

Who the heck is Tanar'ri? I got through it but waaaaaaaay back, so I do not remember what this is

A winged dragon. You need his heart to get out of the sphere. I skipped this the first time.

Ah, that one. Not a dragon, a demon he is. Protect your party from evil and attack him... I think with +3 weapons but ain't sure here. I did planar sphear pretty early in the game, so I had only a couple of +3 weapons in both my parties... but he got down fast and easy.

The only thing I would add is summon anything to take the pressure off of your party. Other than that do what Ubik suggested. There are three of them ,but you only need to kill one.

If you have a cleric able to cast the bolt of glory spell try that. It does a large amount of damage to demons, 10d6 damage, a 6th lvl spell I think.

Thank you everyone for your help I got past it. Makes my night alot nicer.,
