It's worked well so far (level 27, beat main quest, mage's guild and dark brotherhood quests). If I had to do it again, I'd probably take blade instead of sneak, as sneak is unnecessary once you get invisibility.

Well, I had gotten to level twelve with my first character but then started reading some of the leveling concerns. Based on fables recommendation, I downloaded Digizens smooth leveling mod (first mod I'm using) and started a new custom character based on the stuff I was using in the game.

What I was surprised by was in my first two dungeons I was sneaking and using my bow. When I hit a few creatures I was getting 2x to 6x damage for sneak attack. Did not get that with my first character. Also, snuck up on two warriors and a mage. I was real worried about a 3-1 matchup, but dropped all three with crippling attack strikes from behind. They were all three in the same area but didn't notice me in sneak mode. Pretty bad!

I wanted to try a standard class for a chance, because I always used custom classes in Morrowind. I'm finding the class very playable although in close combat it's fairly weak. But good sneak and marksman enable for a lot of sneak attack sniping resulting in loads of kills without being hit, provided there are enough dark spots or being able to get to a place which is hard to reach without good acrobatics skill.

Most used minor skills: Light Armor, Restoration and Alchemy
