By leaving Yoshimo behind before entering Spellhold, you can avoid that he is revealed as a traitor (Irenicus will blame everything on Saemon Havarian) and you can pick him up later, after the Spellhold test.

My question is: If you do so, can you keep Yoshimo to the end or will he be revealed later in the game?
(Didn't do that, just curious)

yoshimo will die the moment you enter any area where you dropped him before going to spellhold

I hate accidently reading a post that gives something away that I didn't know....

I have Yoshimo in my party of 3 npcs, and I haven't gone on to Spellhold yet.

No he won't!!! I told him to go back to the C.C. and when I finished with the Underdark I paid him a visit... he was still there, alive and sound.

But I haven't tried to get him back (at that point he would die, I guess)

The minute I walked in the Copper Coronet he killed himself.

As for reading something you didn't know, well, it said SPOILER in the title of the thread.

yes you did, but I figured I might already know whatever Spoiler it was going to be, and if I didn't I could look away before reading the whole thing....foiled again.
