You go Buck!

And please refrain, everyone, from bashing people based on their sexual preference or nationality. It is really annoying, and inappropriate.

Ah-ha! How about another forum dedicated to stories? I remember a couple of 'Taverns' dedicated to this very thing designed into Interplay's previous bulliten boards.

That allows this forum to remain (relatively) on topic. And gives all a place to vent their creativity.

If I offended anyone you have my regrets I try to treat everyone as an equal . As for going off topic I'm guilt of that too. Maybe another forum would be better.

I fear most of us are guilty for going off topic, one time or another. Still, Buck, isn't this forum something more than just a place to ask things about BG2? Isn't it a place where BG2 players (dedicated ones, as you can see from our posts) are coming together discussing things?

Maybe some of us (the majority, if I may say so) has taken it all wrong. Still, I think humorous and entertaining threads could earn the right to carry on.

Like Goody did. Not even the first page is dedicated to the actual topic of it. Now, it spans over 30 pages!!! That shows a very active, productive, and also vigorous community of players - most of them are intelligent people who have many things to say.

Don't worry about going off-topic Weasel. Most of your comments have been very enjoyable. In fact, one of the nicest things about this forum is that it's interesting even to those who know a lot about the game (and thus don't need their questions answered). That keeps the readership quite high and allows for a large number of people being around to answer the simpler questions (e.g. how do you kill golems? having replaced the kensai/mage as one of the most common questions).

I was merely applauding Buck in his insistence that the threads have SOMETHING to do with BGII. I still can't figure out what the hell the Goody thread is about, but I appreciate it's existence. It's amazing that Good vs. Evil in BGII can inspire such real-world discussions.
