I need a little help getting the quest. I can't get into the tower. I'm running a Fighter/Cleric/Wizard. Is a multiclass character a no-no for this quest? Did I miss a clue somewhere?
Thanks in advance for the help.

You can't get into Cloaktower itself?
The doors for Cloaktower should never be locked...or have you got the quest and can't get the reagents?

Multiclassing should not be a problem, I just entered the tower with a Monk4/sorcerer1, took the quest, and completed it as a monk4/sorcerer2/Red Dragon Disciple 1

I found out the true way to complete the quest too :mischief:

Help me out here: is there any point or advantage for a wizard to be a member of the Cloaktower? Cause I would have to backtrack to find all of that stuff.

As a guild member, you get [SPOILER-highlight to read:]
a cloak ( Many-Starred Cloak ), which comes with the following bonuses ( according to the toolset ):
AC +2
Immunity: Sneak Attack
Light: Bright (20m) random colours
Use Limitation: Class: Sorcerer, Bard, Wizard
You also get access to 'Special Spellcasting Equipment', but it's my experience that you can find better stuff in the game... especially since Eltora Sartyl (sp?), the storekeeper, does not really seem to remember that you're a member of the guild when you talk to her in later chapters, and that even as a guild member, she requires you to give her a spellcasting reagant in chapter 2 every time you want to buy something from her.
You wouldn't be really missing something... but this is the only chance for an arcane caster to be part of a guild throughout the entire OC.
