Question about vampire (SPOILERS)

Post by Junktroep »

After doing the Vampire quest your getting bitten and start to turn into a vampire. Right now I am completely a vampire and cant go outside due to the 8 health degen. My question is is this gonna be solved further in the game? Or is there an easy cure to get?

if you feed you will return to normal. you have to feed each day to maintain this, otherwise within 4 days you'll be back at the flesh rotting cant go outside stage.

there is a cure but i honestly cant rememebr it offhand and my notes are at home.

Well - actually you CAN go outside - just at night though :)

About the cure - visit the Arcane Academy - unfortunately they'll only let you in once you have recommendations from all of the local mage guilds - so you'll have to feed for quite a while and complete the quests as a vampire before getting rid of vampirism :)

About the "what to eat to become normal again" thing - well blood of course! :D Sneak up to sleeping people for instance - when you then try to "use" them you'll be asked wether or not to feed on them - enjoy your meal :D :D

sorry, i actually meant you need to feed in the classic vampire sense, as in blood. Im afraid I dont know how you feed on someones blood in terms of the interface as i've managed to avoid becoming one myself. I believe you basically have to find sleeping people in houses etc.

in terms of the cure, its actually a mission i think, though again I havent actually done it myself, basically involves collecting specific ingrediants. I've also had seen someone claim you can just use a cure disease potion if its been under 3 days since youve got bitten.

to quote another user on another forum : (I hope this is ok? please delete if not)
I have been a vampire for the a couple of ingame days now, and the benefits outweigh the negative aspects of it.
Yes, you have to feed on human blood every day. But when you're in a guild that's no hassle. Just wake up in the middle of the night in the sleeping quarters, quickly feed on a fellow guildmate, and go back to sleep. Works for me! I have prolly infected half the Fighetrs Guild by now ....
People may comment on the fact you aren't looking to well. One NPC even advised me to see a doctor. I don't really care about that. Red eyes ftw!!!
And for the rest it's only benefits. Skill level ups, extra spells, you name it. I am in no hurry to finish the vampire quest.
