A buddy of mine is messing around with the game using hex hacks.

Besides making alot of cool equipment, he today succeded in making an npc that could join your party.

he made one of the merchant hanging outside the umar hills inn join him.
She turned out to be a level 1 mage
I think this is cool, and opens up alot of possibilities for fun gameplay what if you could make anyone join our party?

Anyone else have any experience with hex editing?

Imagine going through the game with Kangaxx, an Elder Orb and Firkragg in your party.

Probably makes the game too easy, but it would be fun to mess around with.

Me and my friend will mess around a little bit more with hex editing and see what we can do

If we get it right, we plan to make it available to everyone on some website we will put up.

I will probably post a topic here to let people in on the fun.

Heh, good luck fitting Firkragg through any human sized doors

That would still be sweet though.

Couldn't Firkraag shapechange or polymorph? He fit into the Copper Coronet. Heh, heh.

How 'bout picking up Saemon Havarian and teach him a lesson about messing with you? Or you could pick up Soulafein. (sp?) Or Phaere.

She'll approach one of the males in the party then. My first protagonist was a female Cleric.

The screen goes dark, you don't truly know what happens afterwards, could be some kinky action going on with the whole party .

Maybe Soulafen gets involved aswell hence him being so nice to later on

hmmmm....i'm thinking what if you can ask Bodhi to join you ? now that's really smokin !

Also what if Irenicus can be asked to join ? I'm beginning to think what is the ending now ???

*Yawn* Well using the shadowkeeper I did recreate the entire cast from the Planescape: Torment game. GamersAlliance got their voices and portraits available for download and the shadowkeeper allows you to change the avatar graphics. Ignus and Morte really ended up very nice.
