Halfling barbarian!!! (spoilers)

Due to a suggestion on another thread, I have started a halfling barbarian that dual-wields daggers.
I am using him in an entirely custom-made party of four characters that I plan to win the game with. They are: 1) my main character, 2) a human shapeshifter who I will dual-class to a fighter, 3) a skald, and 4) an elf swashbuckler who dual-wields katanas with swords.
I must admit, it is quite hard to kill anything with this party, but in a way, that makes the game better. I haven't had to reload so far, but twice already one of my party members has died.
Right now I am in the Graveyard district, trying to scrounge up enough loot to get weapons that are better than +1.
My main character doesn't seem to be doing much damage and I'm in desperate need of good daggers. So here's my question: what are the best daggers in the game? Where can I find them? Which one are easy to get for a hopelessly weak party to get?

I didn't check the link out but I'd definately suggest Dagger of the Stars +4 (as you're playing SoA and can only upgrade it in ToB). Another easy dagger to get is the Boomerang Dagger (which you can get from killing that party in the Bridge District. They're located in an inn... I know it's not the Five Flagons.

Possible Spoilers
I hope this don't ruin things for you......
A dagger +2 can be found in d'Arnise Keep and I have managed to collect several dropped +2 daggers.
Neb's Nasty Cutter (+2 and poison)in the Bridge District.
Stiletto of Demarchess +2(20% stun) in Planar Sphere.
Pixie Prick +3(save vs. poison or Sleep) found in Planar Prison.
Boneblade +4 in Ust Natha.
Firetooth +3 in Ust Natha.

Damn someone beat me to it - was reading The Deathless Journey last night instead of creating characters that I was suggested in anothe thread.
Hmm ah well you snooze you lose.
Daggers ? Firetooth is awesome but in Underdark eek.
I agree with the boomerang dagger though - that does 2d4 damage on melee and can be thrown.

Tx, I really should have thought to use the guide first.
I still can't kill crap though.
If you guys have any advice on how to effectively use this party, plz post a reply.

Well, for one thing, daggers aren't that great..
I would give the elf the Katanas and you keep the longswords, or you use two handed swords. I never even go for daggers with mages..

The point of this character is that he dual-wields DAGGERS. Not long swords, or even short swords, just two tiny daggers. The reason I like this character is because he is just so ridiculous.
Mainly I like him because halflings are pretty much the last race on Faerun that one would expect to become a barbarian.
Don't care if I'm weak, so long as I preserve the original idea of this character.

Daggers eh well that's your call, you could try taking the attention away from weapons such as buffing or resistance items that would aid you in the long run.
Skald - mage spells, tuigan bow or sing like crazy.
Shapeshifter, iron skin, insect plague, shapeshift and attack.
swashubkler elf - basically attack them with unique potions such as mind protection or stone form.
barbarian ? daggers ain't easy but try regeneration to outlast your enemy whilst your crew of 4 join you.
Going to try something similar like this myself based on polls but its good to see you giving your halfling barbarian a go.

I would do a halfling fighter and specialize in them with 5 slots and 3 slots in 2 weapon. Halfling berserker.... I may actually try that, thank you!

I like the pixie prick, it's an easy to get and powerful weapon. Knocking people unconcious is an easy way to kill people quickly.

Well, I'm now using the pixie prick with the +2 dagger, and I can sorta kill things. I do around 10 damage per hit.
Say, does anyone else have their own ridiculous character to post? Like, maybe a half-orc thief or a fighter with three CON?

I once, for giggles, made a fighter and averaged out his stats to be as mediocre as possible (hey, not all heroes are built like Greek gods...real heroes have bad teeth and beer-bellies).

well you could make an intelligent, wise halfling nerd, who's very smart in ways of suvival, but not very strong and pretty
but notice that there are special weapons, gloves, belt, ring, that would make him strong like a giant, agile like an elf, durable like a dwarf and pretty like a driad...
he would be a nice add on to the barbarian dagger god

While not exactly ridiculous (more like unusual), my dual-axe wielding dwarven kensai was fun to roleplay, even though I normally stay away from fighters.
As for your halfling barbarian, you can roleplay that, because he's so small and uses daggers, he learned to use poisons to overcome his 'physical shortcomings'. So you could use Neb's Nasty Cutter on your mainhand (poisons your target unless he saves), and the Pixie Prick on your offhand.
Alternatively, you could use ninja-tos/wakizashis instead of daggers. There are some very good ones in the game (including one which grants you an extra attack).

Yep I'm sure he's still considering his options which has taken quite some time since 2006.
