Does any one know of a good wuik money scheme yet in this game? I daresay alchemy is progressing slowly for me, I need to coble together some 16k to keep myself happy....

work your way to the guildmaster of the fighter guild. you gain money in 2 ways:

1) Whenever you encounter the Blackwood Company, they bound to have very nice equipment (range in a few hundred golds, especially the Orcish sets, each piece is worth close to 1k - but how much you could sell them depend on your merchentile skill), so kill them as usual, and after you're done clearing the dungeon, turn on god mode and back track, looting all the Blackwood guys. You need god mode to be able to carry all the weight. The final conflict with Blackwood will let you gain some nice Glass weapons.

of course, if you are offended by the idea of using god mode to haul the loot, you can try getting the Packmule spell or making loot-run tru and fro a few time, the bodies will stay for a while anyway.

2) You will earn some income through the fighter guild each month as a guild master. Just go to Oweyn to collect your money every month.

there are some nice monetary reward from the duties and contract of the guild while you are working on it.

Another way to gain money is to join the mage guild and get your magestaff, then fight in the arena. I've got a Lightning Magestaff with 2400 charges of lightning spell of 60 damage. Using the staff, I was waltzing through the ranks and beat the Gray Prince with 5 zaps. However you need to collect lots of soul gems to recharge your staff. I used up all the soul gems I saved up from the beginning of the game in the arena, and I occasionally used my glass long sword for easy opponents, just to save some souls (pun intended).

there's a glitch to make good money, but u hav to look it up on you tube, anyway, u can go to Dzonot cave next to the Waterfront, u get good items becuase they hav a ring leader wich gives a chameolon curiess, if ur lvl 15, after u clear that mine, u wait 3 days somewhere else (If u wait by in the bed by the mine, only a adventurer will be there,has nothing really special) , and more bandits are there, but with better items, i got so much money of it, i hav 117819k, and i still gots lots of enchanted armor in my lil imperial cit waterfront shack,of course i bought some of those items like a few only, im lvl 23. If any of u guys need ways to make good money or help with some quests, find a good way to message me by being my freind, posting new posts, or other ways. My brother and i are really rich in the game.

Money can be made by farming the armor and weapons of bandits and vampires. Once you are at a high enough level, the bandits start dropping glass armor and the vampires yield deadric armor. Once you have located the forts or caves in which they spawn, just continue going back to them until you have massed up enough money for your liking.

I'm not sure why nobody has mentioned this; perhaps everyone is opposed to cheating... but some answers have suggested cheating, so here I will suggest one.

You could duplicate some things. I'm not sure if you know about this (I don't know how well-known it is; pretty well-known, I assume). Are you playing for xbox or PC?

Anyway, if you're playing for x360, AND you have the Shivering Isles expansion... it's very easy to make money. And get 100 Alchemy skill.

Ok, first off, I'd suggest getting 100 scrolls (the SAME scroll; i.e. 100 Beguile scrolls). It doesn't matter what scroll it is, as long as you have a sizeable amount of the same scroll. Ok, equip the scroll (in your INVENTORY tab, NOT your Spells tab; just highlight it and click A). After it's equipped, drop any item you want. You'd probably want to drop something that's worth a lot, i.e. a Strong potion of some sort, or even weapons or armor. Now exit your inventory/journal menu thing. Whatever item you dropped will be dropped in the amount of scrolls you had selected. Example: If you had 100 Beguile scrolls and dropped 1 sapphire, 100 sapphires will be dropped. This works for pretty much everything, excepting a few different ingredients, quest items, and sometimes weapons. I couldn't do it with my Mages' Staff that I got from the Mages' Guild, but I could do it with the Apotheosis staff I got from Rindir's Staffs in the Imperial City market district. (Not only does that staff do 99 damage, it's also worth around 3,000 septims, I believe. Depending on your Mercantile skill, of course.)

Note: I would suggest not trying to drop over 200 items. 150 or 100 would be good. Typically any more than that makes the game really choppy and prone to freezing up on you. Also, if you drop an item and it doesn't duplicate it, try it again. Sometimes you have to try it twice before it'll work (this generally happened to me if I tried to duplicate an item I had bought and hadn't actually "picked up" in the game beforehand).

So, if you're not opposed to cheating (if you consider this cheating, which I suppose it is), I think this is the easiest way to make money. I do it so I can start the game out with a house and horse and such. It makes the game more fun for me, so that justifies it in my mind.
