What enchanted items have you made?

I've made 2 so far:

1. I used a blade from cloud ruler temple and enchanted it with something that Absorbs strength 5pts for 14 seconds on target, I called that one Soul Stealer.

2. Used a fine longsword, and enchanted it with something that drains fatigue 5pts for 14 seconds on target. This is a good one since after hitting the enemie a few times they fall to the ground unconcious allowing many free hits. I call this one the Blade of R&R.

Cute! :D I take it that's a lot cheaper than enchanting Paralyze, which is a maser level spell. Fatigue, on the other hand, is there right at the start, and much cheaper to enchant with.

I've made 2 so far as well, with stone that I got from the oblivion towers.

One is an Elven Shortsword called Magebane, it absorbs 5 intelligence for 30.

The second is some Elven gauntlets called Mageshand, which fortifies magicka 30 pts.

I have a third stone waiting with 50 pts magicka fortify, but I want to be able to repair magic items first before I make it, it's annoying not being able to repair you gear when out in a dungeon.

I'd like to correct myself, my Blade of R&R doesn't absorb fatigue 5pt for 14 seconds. It damages fatigue 35pt on strike

I made a third weapon today, It does the same thing as the last weapon but better. It damages fatigue 50pt on strike, I call this one the Blade of Dreams. Then I sold my blade or R&R for a nice amount of gold, 800 I believe it was.

So far, nothing. I am visting the Obl. gates slowly collecting the Sigils, and am slowly getting the lvl of my char up, so that I can have a full set of Glass armor. When I get that then I will sit down and weigh my options and see what I can come up with. :)

I wonder if it's possible, like in Morrowind, to put a full bound set on two enchanted rings? My battlemage loved that back in Vvardenfell, he was only two mouseclicks away from full battle raiment while still keeping his fashionable appearance. ;)

Is it possible to enchant an item with more then one ability? cuz right now the sigils only give an option for a weapon or item. I would like to make something that does more then one thing.

Also, do the abilities in these sigils grow as your characters grows?

weapons should be able (well can because Ive done it) to take multiple effects, its just that the charge cost grows massively if you add too many. Armour so far Ive only been able to add one effect and id say ive got maybe 3/4 of all effects available to me at the present time.

I've actually made a fair few items, but most of them are boring (like a ring of water breathing) so the one i'll share here is -

the Annoyance Remover - a longsword that does 100 health drain for 1 sec. totally useless for anything that has over 100 health (well 100 + my normal damage) but great at killng any lesser creature on the spot. Given the irrationality of the enchantment it hardly uses any charge per use (21 per use I think). I created it primarily for fighting mages, though now my level is up hence the magic users I meet are harder its only real use is clearing the world of wildlife

EDIT: just remembered, be careful not to put the wrong effect on armour, unless you are completely immune to the effect (eg, complete immunity to fire then a 10ft radius fire damage on your cuirass and voila...walkin' talkin fireball :p )

I made a Dwarven Bow that casts silence 10 sec on hit.

As a stealth character, it's great. If you don't kill that mage on the first hit, he can't retaliate.

My Mage's Staff is enchanted with Soultrap, so I hit the enemies, and then blast them with my spells. Voila, one more captured soul.
And I have shoes with CE light on them for the annoying dark caves.

I just got a new sigil but I don't know what the effects do. For a weapon it says 80pt burdon on strike, I think that makes the enemie get heavy and not be able to move or something. And for armor is says 100pt feather but I don't know what the means, help anyone?

You can carry more, and whatever you hit and affect with Burden finds itself magically burdened, as though with weights. Holds 'em in place. Good for long distance attacks.

What do you suggest I do? put the burden effect on a bow or put feather on a ring or amulet? Being able to carry more would be nice, I wouldn't have to revisit dungeons just to finish collecting all the loot. But being able to make the enemie stay in place would help out a lot.

If your bow is your primary weapon, I would definitely go with burden.

You can achieve the 100 point feather with a simple spell.

One thing I am curious about, is whether feather effects from enchanted armor, spells and potions stack?
Feather being measured in points, rather than % says to me that they should stack.... but I'm skeptical as Beth. seem to use % and 'points' interchangably in places.
For instance, spell reflect is a %, but spell absorb is measured in points.
Same goes for the effects of the shield spell being measured in %, when it actually adds points directly to your AR. (atleast according to the manual...)

I think these 2 quantities of measure require clarifying, as they are currently ambiguous as to how the value will affect the performance a spell.

I use the blade as a primary weapon and the bow as a secondary weapon. Marksmanship is a minor skill but I do use it quite a bit. I'm trying to level it up as much as possible. I think I'll go with enchanting the bow, seems like that would be the better deal. If I do that then I think I'll have to sell the bow I got from the Dark brotherhood. It's enchanted with about 3-4 effects though so it pretty valueable. But it's no use carrying two bows around, I'll just be carry unwanted and extra weight.

Many amor parts for chameleon, maybe? Seems very usefull for stealth chars. 100% can be reached, which is invisible death.

Who don't like dark dungeons? Dark dungeons are sweet. Much better than alight exterriors. Mobs are almost blind there :)

Not sure haveing several bows (or other weapons) is bad idea. Let's see: one bow with silence for casters, one with burden for tanks and maybe more... Of cause, you can create one bow with silence and burden both, but it will eat charges fast. F.e. you shoot at the tank, but effect is both silence and burden. That means you loose silence charge, cause you don't need silence on tank.

I made that Bow, so now it does 80pt burnden on strike. The bow is glass too, so it's the strongest one I've seen so far.

And how many strikes takes to burder typical monster for not being able to move?

Depends on its strenght and on what it carries, munch. I guess it aint easy to say how much burden will help you making them stand still.
