feeding as a vampire

ok this will probably sound like a very noobish question, but ive just been turned into a vampire, got some nice stats and stuff, but just wondering how do i feed on people? im a little lost here, do i kill them first? do they have to be sleeping?
and just curious, do you thinkn its worth staying as a vampire, even if at teh lower level (25%)

As far as I know they should be sleeping so go to a guild if you are a member of any and use action key on those sleeping beauties and you're set.

They have to be sleeping, as said above just goto some guilds or guard barrecks. Or just look for beggers sleeping on the streets, they should be behind houses and in corners of the city. To make things easier just use your hunter eye to see in the dark and get detect life. Make sure you sneak cuz you don't want to wake the up.

Every city should have some beggers laying around somewhere. If you not near a city then look for bandit camps, it might be hard to find them sleeping though cuz they always attack you when traveling.
