Just for giggles today I created a party of nothing but Dwarves, Gnomes, and Halflings.
Dwarf fighter specialised with crossbow
Dwarf fighter-cleric
Halfling thief
Halfling Berserker (named Bubba)
Gnome Illusionist
Gnome fighter-illusionist (protagonist named...Mytzylplyk)
They weren't all that bad... I was mildly impressed. I have a bit more respect for illusionists now.
Also...does it happen to dual-wield...DAGGERS?!?!?!?!
I personally never had much respect for the wee-folk, besides the fact that some of them make for wierd character choices. Also, I seem to find that besides cheesy half-orc uber-fighters, gnomes make the best wizard slayers.
...I would have liked to had him dual in club and rock but rocks apparently aren't considered weapons in the BG series .
Who else uses diminutive protagonists?
I've always been a fan of dwarves, particularly dwarven clerics: they tend to kick tail.
"Be thankful you're healthy." "Be bitter you're not going to stay that way."
"Be glad you're even alive." "Be furious you're going to die."
"Things could be much worse." "They could be one hell of a lot better."
