Healing spells cast on rest!

Sometimes when i rest, I get healed, and sometimes i;m not, Why?

Did you have any healing spells left to cast when you rested?

Don't know, is that the case? All healing spell are cast as soon as you rest?

Yes. If you have any leftover healing spells when you rest, they will be cast to heal your party. The computer always heals the first character in the list (the protagonist) until he/she is fully healed, then proceed to the next and so on.
On a sidenote: I've sometimes (it's quite rare) experienced that I get healed if I solo and can not cast cleric spells (after I loose my 2 cure light wounds). There is no pattern for this, so I figure it's some sort of rare bug.

If you have the Rest Until Healed option turned on, you'll rest until you are fully healed (duh). 
That can mean resting for a month if you are pretty hurt and can't cast healing spells.
