Hello just wanted to float a quick question, does spell immunity (abjuration) prevent dispel magic and breach from having any effect?

Dispel magic won't affect it if you set it to abjuration, and Breach is only for combat protections anyway.

I think both Breach and Dispell will loose their effect against an target with spell imunity-abjuration. All spells of the chosen school will be ineffective unless the spell reference says that will be efective. Is the case Pierce Magic, Whip, Spell Strike, Ruby Ray, and some others.

Breach is totally unaffected by any other spell except for Spell Shield. Spell Immunity - Abjuration, Spell Trap or whatever do not stop it. Being improved invisible helps. Same goes for Lower Resistance.

Dispel Magic and Remove Magic are stopped by Spell Immunity - Abjuration.

To freak out demi liches, I have yet to try out, cast improved invisible and spell immunity divination. The spellcaster can't lock on to you for direct spells, so half its script blows up and it goes into area effect mode. This is particularly wicked with project image. not only is the image protected from true sight, so is the inv. thus you have the image unload all the spells it can carry, repeat.
will try later with demi lich in watchers keep.

also, thinking of trying ivans chain cont. helpless-project image. cast project manually, and you spawn 4 images. have each cast impr. inv and spell immunity, use boots of speed to get to demogorgon, and cast spell triggered bolts of glory. Aerie, the demon princekiller!
