Multiplayer probs

After i installed ToB, or installed the ToB-beta patch (don't know) i can no longer create multiplayer games. I have tried all the forms of connection, serial, modem etc. It's not a port problem.
I have a firewall, but that wasn't a problem before ToB, and even if i shut it down i can't do it.
I have ADSL connection.

It happened to me once, then I reinstalled and it never happened again.

Have the ToB disk in your drive but don't start the game.
Go to [url="http://www.gamespy.com"]www.gamespy.com[/url] and register with them and download their software. It is shareware so it is free - the $20 fee is for their additional extras if you want them.
Once registered go into the BG2 forum where you can get the option to join or create a game. Once you click on done your game will start. Good luck!
PS also try the search function on this board for multiplayer - you will see quite a few...
