is anyone else ticked off about the display cases in homes? its so freaking annoying to try to put weps and armour in those and its also difficult trying to put them on tables....is it me or am i doing something wrong...my way of doin it is drop it and HOPE that it lands SOMEWHAT how i want it...

On the PC you can use the "Z" key to grab and drag items. Still hard to place it just right, but easier than just "drop and hope"

The Z key is good. With a bit of practice you can place things exactly.
You can also drag bodies around if they are in the way, of if you want to throw them over the edge of a tower...

yea but i have it on the xbox so yea lol...

It is annoying, the whole system of dragging is annoying.

The display cases are useless. Try putting a cuirass there and see what happens. I am still waiting for a good mod.

im very surprised that Bethesda didnt realize how hard and ANNOYING it is jesus...anyway i HOPE dearly that an update for xbox will come if not i gotta contimue pilling =\ grrr...

I tend to keep away from display cases unless I have no choice. Everytime I open them the contents ricochets up and across the room, for no real reason. Shocked the hell out of me the first time it happened.

I cant believe you guys havent figured this out yet. You can pick items (and place them in cases) By pressing and holding LB. Hope that helps. And yeah, It can be a pain to get it just right but w/e.

We have figured it out, but we mostly play the game for fun, not figuring out impossible feats of coordination to place one book at a shelf

Yes, that happens to me as well with the display cases. Or the thing starts vibrating like mad inside it. Or it peaks up from it, so that the top part stands from the glass, and you can pick it up without opening the case. It's useless practically.
