i have a lord with a bit of celestial magic
heavy weapons-a little of archery
healing spells and lightning bolt or w/e
idk what to do for my next char cause i like hacking and healing but idk if it really matters to have the celestial or arcane specialty but idk
please help!!!

ive been having a great time with my thrall theif/mage.

im planning to become a battlemage/ninja lord.

thralls have great agility/dex, and int to start with.

and ive been able to get all my stats up to a good point, having an agility and dex of 85 at lvl 15 really helps kill things fast, and i have arcane magic at lvl 7, celestial, at lvl 6 as back up, and nether magic at lvl 6 too.

my spells do good damage, my favorite right now is poison cloud, nether.
and my weapons are fast and hit almost everytime.
compared to my friend, i can shoot arrows alot faster i think.

you start off with low str, and vitality is average, but ive been able to increase those all to 40 by lvl 15.

do all the things like running behind enemies work very well?????

like backstab and not having enemies noticing you work very good or not

no, i think the rules said something about sneak, attacking enemies from the flanks or back only working when you have allies around, like multiplayer.
so solo player, the only time you use it is when your in town with guards helping you fight, but im not sure it even works then.

and as far as i can tell, enemies see me just the same as anyone else, there is no rogue stealth ability like other games.

the only thing i think you get thats good is the ability to pick locks and traps well, and that you are faster and more dextrous, at least earlier on, and you get the bonuses to learning your steal skill, which later on i heard gets alot of good things. every time you attack something there is a chance you get extra treasure.

The races can be pretty much equal if stats and skills are put in the right places, though if your talking about classes I do pretty well with my knight/sorcerer character.


p.s myyth you can use sneak anytime just dodge to their side or back and attack.

ill agree later on in the game, its all about how your distibute your points, aLL races become similar, but im sure it must be harder starting off as an elf female with low hit points, and str, and higher cost to increase them.

there is also the speed cap to keep in mind, each race has a maximum combat speed as far as i can tell, my thrall is stuck at 262, my friends elf is faster than me. it think 278 or something like that.

would there be anypoint to be just a mage or would it not be worth it in the end like only doing celestial magic

and where do u find all the other spells for celest magic

i can only use like 3 spells
heal,lightning,and slow down time or w/e
that level 9 one that brings the helper doesnt work and idk why it doesnt
where do you find the rest of the magic
cause the chests dont drop the spells you have to buy them and idk where to do that

Being just a mage will get you killed...just so you know.

You can buy celestial magic spells from the celestial order guildmasters in Fargrove and Arindale. You'll get a better selection if you're actually in the celestial order.

i am in the celestial order and i have like 8 spells to choose from just only 3 or 4 work for me

Your Celestial Magic skill level has to be at least equal to the level of the crystal for it to work.

im a bit past that level im like 12 or 13 and the level 9 spells still wont work
and where can i get the newest update 1.5 cause i have 1.4 and i would like that and idk where to find it.
