Weapons against ghosts ?

Do only silver weapons damage ghosts ?

nope. enchanted weapons(even if they are out of charges) and daedric weapons do too

Thanks, so I can finally get rid of my silver claymore. What about ebony weapons? I know that elven weapons don´t work!

Only magic or silver weapons. Always carry one. But a small silver or magic weapon works pretty much as well as a big one, and is MUCH lighter to carry around! Just check the damage rating of the weapon for your character. It's no good carrying round a silver/magic blade if you are are a Blunt or Ranged user.

Well, I am pretty partial to blades anyway, I just want to get ridt of the weight.

What I do is just carry around a silver long sword and some enchanted weapons, the silver long sword works well for about any battle I think, but when there is a few people to take care of then I use my enchanted weapons for a bigger punch.
