Help please!

Greeting to everybody, could you help me with one problem, please?
I got BG2:SOA a few days ago and started playing.

Now I'm stuck.
In the Slums district after exiting the Copper Coronet (or something like that) a woman talked to me and asked to meet the Mistress in the Graveyard district at night. I went there but I didn't meet any Mistress, except for one lady with the spiders in the tombs. (I was resting in the tombs so maybe I met that lady at day, well, I killed her and got something) The problem is that I didn't find any Mistress on the surface at night.
Could you help me find where she is? I don't want to have any unsolved quests.

When you enter the graveyard at night - the person you are there to meet will greet you right away.

Maybe you've already paid Gaelen the 15 000?

Well, yes, I already paid that thief Gaelen.
That means I won't meet the Mistress, doesn't it? If so the quest will remain unsolved.

Well without spoiling too much - I'll just say that it is another branch to go instead of paying Gaelen *Coo*

You won't meet the Mistress this game but you can always do it the next time. It's no big deal - you haven't missed a quest, you've only made one of two possible choises (and the one I *always* do no matter what). So just play on, you're not stuck at all.

Thanks for advice.
TO SPOILER! I just want to know what would the mistress have told me? And who is SHE (maybe a ghost)?

And what choice do YOU make when you play the game. And the last one is there a way of putting that quest out of my journal, cuz it really looks bad there.
PS: what do you think is the easiest class to play and what is the hardest? And any chance of sending me your hero save, huh?

She happens to be Bodhi, the leader of the vampire guild. Don't worry, you'll encounter her later in the game.

Basically, there are 2 paths to follow through chapter 3. The "good" one is to pay Gaelan the 15k, in which case you'll end up fighting the forces of the "mistress" and eventually the mistress herself. The "evil" one is to side with the mistress, in which case you'll end up fighting with the people you're helping on the good path.

Leo,
Who the mistress is an intended mystery. I won't spoil that for you. Just keep walking around and the story will unfold

It's not that you haven't done a quest, it's that you've chosen a path (as said above).
As to the best class, well, that will be argued, and has been for days

It all depends on your playing style, so just try to have a balanced party. Some people argue for 'power' classes like a Kensai duelled to a mage, or a Ranger to a Cleric. I say pick something that sounds fun, or maybe that you could imagine yourself being. (Hmm..which could be why I always pick some form of a thief.)
Have fun, I remember my first time through!
Edit: Aegis: So much for me being good Mr. Spoiler

(Leo asked for it, I know! But, for some reason I thought 'It's a story, must not spoil it'. )

Thanx to all Misters (Mistresses) Spoilers.

Don't you want to play through the game yourself first? If you just want a superpowerful character with tons of equipment, download ShadowKeeper or look up the cheats on www.teambg.com . But I still recommend that you finish the game once on your own first. Cheats take away some of the fun.

No, I just wanted some imported characters files with GOOD stats. It REALLY pisses me off when on the 1 roll I get average stats and on the next one they are by 2 or 3 points higher or lower.
I just wanted to have 'em it case I start a new game after finishing it with a new hero.
PS: I hate cheating a I never cheat!

Leo, there's not really a way to get good stats without cheating. The game appears to limit rolls to an agregate total, so that there is a maximum stat range. The only way around it without cheating is to pick a class with high minimum requirements -- paladins get the best rolls because there are so many stats with a minimum score. My beef with this is that in PnP, you
could roll forever and get all 16's, 17's, and 18's. It wasn't likely, but you
could. To not even have a chance of creating an exceptional genetic specimen because of an arbitrary limit is irritating. Of course, in PnP, you weren't supposed to move points from stat to stat, and scores good enough to create Paladins were hard to come by.
If that is not acceptable, use the control-8 function from the CLUA console to get all 18s. Then just reduce the scores to what you think is reasonable. The only thing you can't change is the modifier on 18 strength -- it's always "00."
